In the semifinals tomorrow, Chen (CHN, world no.5) will play Simon (INA, world no.9), while  Nguyen (VIE, world no.12) will play Sasaki (JPN, world no.6). Chen Jin is likely to make himself stretch in order to secure the Olympic ticket, so there is nothing to do but win the MS. However, Simon will not be an easy opponent.

There is a prospect of all Japan final in the WD event. WD event. Meanwhile the unseeded Luo/Luo continue their giant steps and are likely to be pairs of the tournament because of their surprising achievement.
